News: Petrol Girls release video for “Slug”

Constantly proving to us that they are currently the most exciting band in the country, London’s Petrol Girls are raring to release their long-awaited follow-up to their debut EP, called Some Thing and is released on multiple labels from February 19th.

The band have released a video for first track “Slug”, and they had this to say about the production of the video:

“”Slug”, put together by Andrew Northop, loosely draws different ideas together, using the technique of datamoshing (the glitchy appearance is deliberate) to emphasize said ideas of alienation and distance.”

The video has been released alongside a long and informative interview singer Ren did with Noisey magazine which you can read here.

Watch the video below:

You can pre-order the EP on 7″ via LaserLife Records in Europe an on CD from Bomber Music.

Petrol Girls will be on tour much of this year and it will be regrettable of you to not catch a show at some point.

Seeing Your Scene’s review of Some Thing is due soon so make sure you head on back to check that out in the coming days.
