Seeing Your Scene chats to Nottingham’s own George Gadd who plays acoustic solo stuff and also fronts emo/pop-punks Little Bribes.
How was 2015?
It was a whirlwind of emotion but looks like it’s closing out on a high note thankfully! Hopefully next year our country can pull itself together.
What was your favourite moment of the year?
Little Bribes played a sold out show at JT Soar. I’m not really a guy that puts on too many shows so that was the joint favourite/most stressful moment.
Oh and just Drake killing it this year.
What was the best show you played?
It’s incredibly difficult to pick the one. One particular highlight of this year is performing alongside artists I respect and admire a great deal.
Two shows that stick in my mind are Derby and Manchester. Two places I had never played before and I had a great deal of nerves on the way there. Easily two highlights and prime examples of knowing no one but coming out with a great deal of friends.
What was your favourite release?
There are so many. I’m having trouble narrowing it down to five never mind one! Off the top of my head, the Tellison record has so many incredible songs.
What are you excited for next year?
Little Bribes are recording in January. I am recording a full band EP in February and there’s been talk of Europe.
