Looking back at 2016 with… Jaded

First in our series looking back at 2016, we’ve got Birmingham emo band Jaded! Keep an eye out over the next couple of weeks for more!

How was 2016?

A mixed bag from start to finish, we finally released our third EP but also Ronnie Corbett died so swings and roundabouts.

What was your favourite moment of the year?

Seeing Alex G or our weekender with Deadlines.

What was the best show you played?

In Bristol at The Stag & Hounds with Deadlines + Splitsville, it was the first show we headlined and shockingly a fair amount of people stuck around for us! Also I’m fairly sure the walls were sweating at one point it was that hot.

What was the best show you went to?

DIIV in Birmingham back in March.

What were your favourite releases?

Secret Beach by Pipedream, Return to Love by LVL UP, and Rock the Fuck on Forever by Angel Du$t.

What are you looking forward to next year?

Writing a full length record and continuing to be the UK’s unluckiest band.
