Birmingham’s Magpies and Vagabonds have today announced they’re splitting up. You can read the full statement and stream a new, final, song below.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the end of Magpies & Vagabonds. As of now, we join the countless other bands on “indefinite hiatus”, choosing to focus on other personal and musical projects, ultimately saying goodbye to this band – at least for the foreseeable future.
Thank you to each and every person who has enjoyed our music, bought our merchandise, booked us to play, or just said hi. A personal thank you to everybody who has ever been in this band and helped me try to realise a dream – all your inputs have been invaluable and my gratitude is infinite.
We leave you with a final farewell in the form of “Sweet Vile Alison”, available for free download from Bandcamp and streaming on Soundcloud.
