After a long wait since their debut release The Brainfreeze EP released in April 2014, London pop-punx Triple Sundae are finally ready to reveal their new EP, Flaked Out, giving readers of Seeing Your Scene a exclusive first listen. The release comes at the end of a exciting year of live shows for the band which included touring Greece with their friends The Overjoyed, with a second leg in the UK.
Talking about Flaked Out, frontman Hassan Afaneh tells us…
We spent a nearly a year reworking the line-up and finding our sound, the idea of adding horns has always been a topic discussed between all of us since the beginning, as we all love a bit of tooting, as well as growing up loving bands such as Big D, ASOB and We Are The Union so we decided to go with it! I feel that this EP is a great jump-off point for the band, and we’re really excited for what’s to come. Dave moving on to trombone and Zandro joining us on drums has been a fantastic choice for us, and we can only hope people can take it on board just as well as we have. Enjoy!
