Seeing Your Scene Launches

About Seeing Your Scene

Seeing Your Scene was founded in July, 2014.

Our aim as a website is to cover the UK DIY punk scene, but with a twist.

We feature:

  • Interviews with DIY bands
  • Interviews with promoters
  • Interviews with record shops
  • Interviews with venues
  • Articles from around the world, showing how different punk scenes work
  • Sessions from artists
  • Tour diaries
  • Artists interviewing artists
  • Record reviews
  • Live reviews
  • Show listing

Our aim is to make the UK DIY scene more inclusive; to encourage people to go out to shows by informing them of more cool things that are happening on their doorstep.

Contributing

If you would like to write/take photos for us, you can email me at max@seeingyourscene.com.

We don’t care if you’re not the best writer in the world. Enthusiasm about music is more important.

Be featured

Again, you can contact me at max@seeingyourscene.com.

We do things with just about anyone. Don’t worry if you’re just starting out or if you think you’re too small. We want to include everyone.
